I TOOK EVERYTHING FOR GRANTED

V1.  I meditated, and I have

Contemplated why I have

Been discontented.

I never appreciated

What I had.  I took

Everything for granted.

V2.  Now I realize that God

Has given me everything.

Now everything is received

With gratitude.  Now I am

Happy to be alive.  Waking

Up to see another day

Is a blessing.

B.  Sunshine is sweet.

I will take delight

In each light

Filled hour.
