PLEASE SAVE ME

V1. Lord, I weep with sorrow;

Encourage me by Your word.

My tears flow.  Please help me to

Recall Your words from long ago.

I know You care for me.

 

R. Lord, I am Yours, please save me.

 

V2.  The enemy is indurate.

The enemy is intemperate.

I can’t stand it anymore.

Lord, all Your commandments

Are trustworthy,

They persecute me wrongfully,

Please help me.

 

V3.  Lord, please look at my

Desperation in this situation.

Please see my indignation,

Trepidation and suspiration.

I am weary of their

Manipulation and opposition.

 

V4.  The arrogant have

Accused me falsely;

But I will observe Your

Precepts wholeheartedly.

 

V5.  Iniquitous people wait for me,

I shall diligently consider

 

 

Your testimonies.  Lord,

Give me a helping hand, for

I have chosen to follow Your

Commandments.
