V1. As the first shades
Of colour paint the sky,
The day is dawning.
The Church bells ring
Out on Sunday morning.
V2. On the Holy Sabbath Day
Saints arise to gather
Together to worship
God, Jesus and the
Holy Spirit.
C. Heavenly knowledge
We are seeking.
Heavenly knowledge
We are keeping.
Our life has full meaning.
V3. We have beautiful days
Full of love, thanksgiving
And praise.
For now and for always.
When the Church comes together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. For building up and edification.
